1. Please can you tell me under the Freedom of Information Act how many social service referrals you have had because a child was transgender.
Please provide the number of referrals for the years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 to May 1.
We do not collect this information in a reportable way so are unable to answer this question.
It would be unlikely that we receive referrals because a child is transgender. However, anecdotally there has been in increase in referrals for other reasons where the child concerned is transgender.

2. Can you tell me how many of these referrals required further action?

3. If further action was taken please can you provide numbers on what action was taken, i.e. 4 cases taken into care etc.
