On many occasions working with social services workers have referred to a policy in relation to meetings not being recorded. We have searched for these policies to no avail.
1. Could you provide evidence of this policy? As agents of the state, your policies should be available to all.
We currently do not have a policy that would include meetings being/not being recorded however we are currently in the process of updating our Information Security Acceptable use of IT Policy which unfortunately has been delayed due a.) Covid & b.) Political Leadership views. Once this has been reviewed and updated it will be available for all to view.
2. Could you provide the location of this policy or if it is not public, please make it available?
Our current policy can be found on this link, however please revert to answer to q1 and that this doesn’t include information on meetings being/not being recorded: https://www.wokingham.gov.uk/council-and-meetings/open-data/plans-policies-and-strategies/?assetdet91f252ff-550d-4cfa-a838-92ef2cb5f83c=245896&categoryesctl91f252ff-550d-4cfa-a838-92ef2cb5f83c=7740
