I am requesting the following information regarding housing demand on your council waiting list as of 27th July 2025.

1. Please can you provide me with how many people are waiting for a 2 bedroom property in band 1, and band 2.
Band 1: 18
Band 2: 22

2. Please can you also confirm the categories band 2 are broken down in to and how many people are within each category.
Housing have advised that this would exceed the limit for FOI as they would manually need to look at each application to locate the reason for the banding. The report only lists if an applicant has been granted a medical banding, the rest just has an ‘override’ this could be a banding award for various reasons such as homeless duty, social award, direct, overcrowding so for those on the downloaded report that has ‘override’ to confirm for what reason this was we would need to look at each individual application on the system.
