I am researching UK-wide school safeguarding referrals, on behalf of the End Violence Against Women coalition. Please provide me with the following recorded information for each of the last five years:

1. The total number of safeguarding referrals made to you, by schools, about their pupils, in the given year.

2. If you hold the information subcategorised (eg: by type of concern, gender of pupil, or referral as perpetrator or victim), the total for each subcategory, in that year. We are especially interested in breakdowns by gender, where available.

3. The total number of school pupils in your area, in that year.
