I’m writing an article about the use of reinforced aerated autoclaved concrete (RAAC) in school building structures, and how much this is costing councils to repair/replace. Please can you let me know how much money your authority has spent since September 2018 (so the last four years) on:

1. Survey work to see whether RAAC exists in the structure of your maintained schools?
£1,700.

2. How many how many schools you found to have RAAC in their structures overall and broken down into primaries/secondaries?
None.

3. How many of those schools required/ will require in the future remedial work on them to replace or repair the RAAC?
Not applicable.

4. How much money the work undertaken to remediate/remove RAAC has cost/is predicated to cost in the future?
Not applicable.
