1. Please could you advise of your policy or approach on the policing of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR) in relation to in scope commercial coffee machines sited within coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and hotels and such in your region? If you have a better person of contact regarding this, please could you provide their contact email?
During routine food safety and health and safety inspections officers will seek to confirm the last servicing and insurance inspection of machines operating at 0.5 bar above atmospheric pressure and advise such are arranged if not within the last 12 months or the expiry of the most recent certification; or immediately if no certification is available.
