I would like this data for each of the last five calendar years as follows: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.

1. I would like to know the amount of money spent on pothole repairs (£).

2. I would also like to know the amount of money spent on pothole related compensation (£).

3. I would like to know the least, most and average amount of money spent on compensation for pothole damage.

4. Finally, I would like to know how much you have spent on any consultant costs relating to potholes.

Wokingham Borough Council have been asked about road defect figures before and answered previous Freedom of Information requests on this matter which are available on our disclosure logs. As the Council publish responses to previous requests we are applying Section 21 exemption of the Act to this request.

In Wokingham Borough, potholes are not treated separately from other road surface defects.
