The Council are applying Section 41 and 43(2) exemption to these questions. The outcome of releasing the information would be to put future bidders at an unfair advantage and could impact the council getting best value from a tender exercise if they were privy to information supplied from a previous bidder. The contract price is the final price as per submitted by the bidder and we would not break this down further. There's is an expectation from Bidders that when they submit information that matters relating to the commercial and/or security aspects would not be disclosed into the public domain.
The Council are required to publish aspects of the contract on the Councils Contract Register which will contain start and end dates, contract manager contact, value, etc. It would not be in the public interest for the Council to publish this information for the reasons stated above.

"Contract Term and Commencement
Any contract issued as a result of this ITT will be held with Wokingham Borough Council and run for an initial term of 2 year/s, subject to satisfactory performance. The contract is expected to commence on 12th December 2024. The term of the Contract may be extended for 1 period of up to 1 year; each period subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability and mutual agreement between the parties."
