There are 2 drinking fountains within the Regen portfolio.
2. New Installations: How many new drinking fountains have been installed in the last 3 financial years (2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25)?
None
3. Decommissions: How many drinking fountains have been deactivated or turned off permanently in the last 3 financial years (2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25)?
None.
4. Maintenance Spend: What was the total spend on maintenance and repair of these fountains in the last full financial year (2024/25)?
Less than £1,000.
5. Increase Policies: Does the Council have a specific policy or target to increase access to free drinking water to reduce single-use plastic waste?
There is no specific policy or target related to reducing single-use plastic waste by increasing access to free drinking water.
6. Locations: Please provide a list of the specific locations of all functional public drinking fountains maintained by the Council.
There is 1 x drinking fountain at Peach Place and 1 x at Elms Walk, both in Wokingham town centre.
