Wokingham Borough Council topped up the Grant by £100,000, so the total amount available was £381,258. Approximately 73% of this amount was used to provide direct grants to individuals and families for food/groceries, fuel, and other related items who applied to and were assessed for support by Wokingham Citizens Advice. The actual grants were then distributed by Wokingham Borough Council.

Approx 26% of the total available funds (£381,258 - including the £100K top-up from the Council) were used to supply free school meals vouchers to eligible families over the Christmas Break 20/21. Approx 1% was used to provide food and grocery vouchers to Care Leavers.
