Highways have provided the following response in relation to Highways spraying:
2020 – 655 Litres Monsanto Amenity Glyphosate XL. Cost to us of £1768.00.
2021 – 640 Litres Monsanto Amenity XL. Cost to us of £1728.00
2022 – 512 Litres Trustee Amenity. Cost to us of £5201.92
2023 – 597 Litres Trustee Amenity + Monsanto Amenity XL (Combined). Cost to us of £3695.43
2024 – 440 Litres Trustee Amenity. Cost to us of £2562.87
The stock was allocated to Wokingham as required, so there was no surplus / excess / unused.
In both instances the stock was ordered in the January of the respective year.

Through this I am trying to ascertain whether the purchased volume is matched by the used volume, so if there is a record of expired or unused -cides too, that would be ideal. Wokingham Borough Council’s Countryside Service Estate for the purpose of stump treatment, spot spraying of invasive species and vegetation encroachment on paths.
Amenity Services have advised the use of this herbicide is to weed spay on pavements and Council owned areas around the borough via a third party contractor.
