o Job description - The Public Health Project Officer role is an important role within the Public Health team. Your key role is to work in partnership with colleagues and outside agencies to improve the health and wellbeing within the community through the development, implementation and co-ordination of public health programmes based on local health needs. This will involve undertaking and/or contributing to local Joint Strategic Needs Assessment/s. This role will also be responsible for reviewing, commissioning and contract managing specific services within your own portfolio area, for example smoking cessation services and adult weight management.
