I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:

1. What is the total budget that the Council could spend up to under the Household Support Fund scheme for the period from 1 April 2022 to 30 September 2022?
Wokingham Borough Council has a Household Support Fund allocation of £525,573.35 for this period.

2. How much did the Council spend under the Household Support Fund scheme from the period 1 April 2022 to 1 May 2022?
Wokingham Borough Council did not spend any of the allocated funding in the period 1 April – 1 May 2022. Please note that this extension of the Household Support Fund was announced in the Chancellor’s Spring Statement and local authorities did not receive final documentation from DWP confirming allocations and guidance until the 20th April 2022.
