1. Please could you tell me how many people have presented themselves to the council as homeless as a result of losing their home as a result of mortgage repossession in each of the past three financial years and how many, in each of those years, how many of those who presented as homeless because of mortgage repossessions have since been homes.
a) 2022-23: 3 presented, 1 applicant proceeded to full homelessness application and this applicant was assisted to secure alternative accommodation.
b) 2023-24: 5 presented, 1 applicant proceed to full homelessness application and this applicant was assisted to secure alternative accommodation.
c) 2024-25: 11 presented, 5 applicants proceeded to full homelessness application, 3 applicants were assisted to secure alternative accommodation and 2 cases still open and being supported to relieve homelessness.
