We are conducting a research paper on the Home to School transport market within local authorities and councils. The purpose of this report is to take a snapshot in time of how local authorities and councils are managing their Home to School Transportation services and how this compares across the country.

A Community Transport Unit which covers, Home to School Transport, Adult Social Care Transport, Public Transport, Voluntary Transport and Community Transport (S19/22)

Fully manage these in-house

Routewise and Qroutes

Highways and Transport – arrange the transport and assess mainstream applications
Childrens Services – SEN team assess SEND applications and need
Childrens Services – hold the budget

10. Do you operate a DPS system or do you allocate certain geographical zones to one or more dedicated operator
Yes we use a DPS which has 10 Lots based on vehicle size and type
