My request is related to the green bag recycling scheme. Please can you provide;

1. Number of green bags ordered by WBC for the last 3 years.
We have ordered 76,000 green bags in the last 3 years.

2. Number of lost or damaged green bags for the last 3 years.
We do not hold this information as bags collected from the hubs by residents can be for the replacement of lost or damaged bags or additional bags.

3. Cost to introduce the scheme

4. Increase in volume of recycling since the scheme was introduced.
The tonnages collected kerbside are as follows
2021/22 full year: 7,750 tonnes
2022/23 full year: 6,788 tonnes – reduction of total waste (including recycling) due to global economic factors.
2023/24 full year: 7,303 tonnes
2024/25 part year (April to December): 5,524* tonnes
