I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding any formal or informal agreements, contracts, or service arrangements between funeral directors and crematoria operated or commissioned by this Council. Specifically, I would like to request the following:

1. Please confirm whether any funeral directors receive non-standard or discounted pricing for cremation services—particularly direct cremations—as part of formal or informal arrangements that involve exclusive use of your crematorium or an agreement not to use other providers.

2. A list of all funeral directors who currently hold contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), or preferred provider status with any crematorium under your authority.

3. Details of the nature of these agreements, including:
o Duration and renewal terms
o Pricing structures or discounts
o Booking priority or slot allocations
o Any exclusivity clauses or referral expectations

4. Copies of any standard contract templates or memoranda of understanding used to formalise these relationships.

5. Any policies or criteria used to determine eligibility for such agreements.

6. Annual cremation volumes attributed to each contracted funeral director for the past three financial years, if available.
