Not applicable – Holiday Activities and Food Programme started Easter 2021. Wokingham Borough Council has been allocated £307,700 through the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) to cover Easter (1 week), Summer (4 weeks) and Christmas (1 week) holidays in 2021 (6 weeks in total).
ii. Easter school holidays (29/03/21 - 9/04/21)

iii. Summer school holidays (22/07/21 - 31/08/21)
During the Summer holidays 2021 WBC offered a 5-week programme of activities and food for children aged 4-16 in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, including bespoke activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and a series of community activity days. All activities have included a free healthy meal for each child or young person attending (in receipt of benefits-related FSM). At the same time, recognising that not all children would take up the offer to attend HAF activities, the Covid Local Support Grant extension funded food/grocery vouchers for all families with children in receipt of benefits-related free school meals throughout the summer holidays (£90 per child).
