In regard to 299 Wokingham Road, I note that further applications have been made for retrospective planning permission which have been rejected - and no changes appear to have been made to the property.
1. Please could you provide an update in respect to the enforcement cases in relation to 250464 and 250467 - RFS/2025/090712 and RFS/2025/090713? I understand that on 14/10/2025 the site visit resulted in agreement with the occupier that the walls and gates would be updated to comply with permitted development within GPDO2015. Please can you confirm the status of the proposed changes and the programme for implementation?
2. Noting that 5 months has now passed since the site visit, and that no progress appears to have been made in regard to bringing the site to be legally compliant, at what stage will the council take legal action against the occupant for breaking the Town and Country Planning Regulations? What is the nature and programme for this legal action? Since the applicant has not successfully achieved planning for the current proposals, and remains non-compliant with the regulations, can you advise whether:
- what timescale will the council serve enforcement for removal of the caravans and boundary walls (presumably via PCN)?
- when will WBC consider application for fines and legal proceedings due to the ongoing non-compliance?
