The service was recommissioned in July 2021 and this data would be held by the Provider (previously Berkshire Womens Aid) I don’t know if this information would be collected but if it is the person requesting the information would need to contact BWA directly.

Services are not split a specialist DA service is commissioned and therefore this data is not available.

Support within the specialist DA services is within an overall contract value and not separated out into these elements – so whilst there is 1FTE child and young person’s advocate, we don’t know the cost of this so can’t give a percentage figure). The budget for this service is not split into individual areas - it is one complete contract value.

3. Can you demonstrate having a commissioning strategy which meets the needs of children and young people who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse in collaboration with other commissioners of similar funds within your locality?
Prior to commissioning the current provider to commence 1st July 2021 a full needs assessment was commissioned and completed. A project board was then formed to write the service specification which included several partners including but not exhaustive – Police, Health, Safeguarding, Youth Offending Service, Probation, Childrens, Adults services.
