We collect information for all tenures via our online move forms and information gathered over the telephone as this helps us determine council tax liability especially for empty properties between tenants.

Other correspondence received such as letters and emails is dependent on what information is supplied by customers, though generally all agent notification will provide ownership and rental details.

All council departments can gain access to this data to carry out its statutory duties and functions such as checking the accuracy or to prevent or detect crime, or to protect public funds in other ways as permitted by law.
