Please note that Wokingham doesn’t commission by site, we have provided the number of providers who sign up to deliver contraceptive services. Also, there will be several General Practices across the region who have satellite clinics which they operate services from.

a) Please confirm or deny whether the local authority stipulates and/or monitors waiting time requirements in contracts with (i) general practice and (ii) sexual and reproductive health services for appointments for the fitting of IUDs/IUSs.

b) If confirm, please release corresponding data on (i) average waiting times and (ii) the longest waiting time in the most recent year for which figures are available.
Figures for 2022 for Sexual and reproductive health services:
i. Average waiting time for IUS/IUD fit is 16 days for 2022
ii. 92 days – however this was due to scheduling issues for person. Average wait time is 16 days for 2022
