1. Please would you make available all documentation, including emails, held by Wokingham Borough Council supporting the decision to reduce the speed limit in Church Lane, Shinfield from 60mph to 30mph.
The creation of the SDLs and adoption of the core strategy which introduced housing growth within these areas has led to a change in character of the area. The introduction of the housing within this area, with a new access arrangements, in this case a new roundabout, and the increased walking and cycling within the area, have led to a change in design standards. The standards have been used by the developer to support their planning applications and ensuring they are safe and in line with DfT highway standards. Therefore I feel the supporting information here is probably the SPDs which helped to identify the street hierarchy, and the developers application submissions etc.

Therefore the supporting information is already publicly available as it would have formed part of the application process / submission, which was subsequently approved at planning committee. The Core Strategy and SPDs are also publicly available on the Councils website.
