I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding children in temporary accommodation. I would like to know the following:

1. How many children (Under 18) were living in temporary accommodation on the 25th December 2023?
Emergency accommodation (Guest House B&B): 1
Temporary accommodation: 105
Total: 106

2. How many of these children were 15 years of age at the time?
Emergency accommodation (Guest House B&B): 1
Temporary accommodation: 7
Total: 8

3. Since January 2020, what is the longest a child (under 18) has had to live in temporary accommodation before being placed in permanent accommodation?
- Please specify the date range if the exact start and end dates are known.
Longest household during this date range moved into temporary accommodation on 01/04/2019 and moved into permanent accommodation on 28/01/2024, however if you require a household that moved into temporary accommodation after January 2020 then this household moved in on 09/11/2020 and moved into permanent accommodation on 17/12/2023.

4. What is the average duration that children (under 18) have been spending in temporary accommodation before securing permanent housing?
Current average time in temporary accommodation (accommodation within council stock) for children under 18 years of age is 14 weeks, there are no children in emergency accommodation currently.
