A Subject Access can be extended past the 30-day period without being a breach of the compliance time. The legislation states that complex cases can be extended up to 90days. Children Services had 25 cases which have needed to be extended past the 30-day period in that time. Adult Services had 2 requests which were extended.

3. How many times has the LA breached the Data Protection Act 2018 with reference to Parents getting letters that were supposed to be for another person in their envelopes please give separate statistics for Children and Adult services over the past nine calendar months?
Childrens: Zero reported data breaches by parents receiving letters for another child in an envelope.
Adults: Not applicable.
