I am making a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We note that it is a requirement that Placing Local Authorities notify you when young people are placed in your jurisdiction. It is also a requirement for Supported Accommodation providers who are subject to the Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023 to notify you of young people aged 16 and 17 being placed in your area.

1. Please provide the number of children and young people living within your local authority area, who were placed by another local authority in the following provision types, broken down by responsible local authority and age. Please provide this data for what you had on 30th September 2025.
a) Children’s Homes, that are Ofsted-registered homes regulated by the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 (total number in the age category: under16, 16, 17 and by status).
b) Supported Accommodation, that is subject to the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 (ages: 16, 17 only and by status).

2. Please provide the number of children and young people that you have managed to place inside your local authority boundary, and also the number who are placed outside your Local Authority boundary in the following provision types, broken down by status and age and whether they are Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children. Please provide this data for what you had on 30th September 2025.
