I wish to make a request and would be grateful if you could provide the following information:

1. If the council has a plan intended to specifically address gang-based child sexual exploitation, or if such a strategy is incorporated within a larger strategy to address child sexual exploitation.

2. All motions proposed by councillors since July 2024 which call for an inquiry into grooming gangs (whether a local inquiry or a national one in which your local authority would participate)

3. Since July 2024, has the council engaged in correspondence with the Home Office regarding a local inquiry into grooming gangs? If so, please provide the nature of this correspondence.

4. The amount of compensation awarded by the local authority to the victims of child sexual exploitation between the years 2018 - 2024 and the number of individuals to whom it was awarded.

5. The amount of compensation awarded by the central government to victims of child sexual exploitation identified and assisted by your local authority area between the years 2018 - 2024 and the number of individuals to whom it was awarded.
