a) Please can you tell me how many child safeguarding practice reviews the council has carried out in each year since 1 January 2020. Please include any reports and/or summaries from each review that were either published or available to the public upon request.
Three child safeguarding practice reviews for Wokingham have been carried out by the Berkshire West Safeguarding Partnership (which includes Wokingham Borough Council) since 1st January 2020. Two were initiated in 2020 and one was initiated in 2021. b) For each review please tell me whether the case was referred to the national child safeguarding practice review panel.
All three were referred to the national child safeguarding practice review panel.
c) For each review please include how long it took for the case to be referred to the national child safeguarding practice review panel.
Case 1: referred to the national panel within 2 working days of the incident.
Case 2: referred to the national panel on the same day that evidence of significant harm was corroborated by the Police.
Case 3: referred to the national panel within 5 working days of the arrest of child.
