1. Did the council introduce free or reduced car parking during the pandemic (i.e since March 2020)? If so, please provide a brief summary of the fee reduction (location, extent of price reduction, whether scheme was for key workers or all motorists, etc). If more than one scheme was introduced please detail each one.
2. For each scheme, what date did the reduced parking fees scheme come into effect and on what date did it expire/ was it due to expire?
3. For each scheme, has the scheme been extended beyond the duration that was initially announced? If so, until what date?

We currently intend to withdraw all schemes from the 21 June as per the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) guidelines.

Covid-19 permits providing free parking for NHS and key workers since 25 March 2020 until 21 June 2021 as agreed by MHCLG. In all our car parks and on street whilst on Duty.

Free parking for Council Staff Civic Offices Shute End carparks for all staff on essential duties during Covid pandemic from 25 March until 21 June 2021 in line with the MHCLG guidelines.

Covid Vaccination centre. Free parking for vaccinations Approx. 20 spaces in Rose Street car park, Wokingham and Headley Road car park, Woodley to allow free parking for vaccinations between June 2020 and June 2021 when vaccination centres were opened and operational.
