I’d like to make a freedom of information request regarding injuries to staff members in Wokingham Borough Council’s waste collection crews.

1. Does the council keep logs or records of injuries among its waste collection crews?
Yes.

a) If so, can you tell me how many have been injured while handling blue ‘general waste’ bin bags since they were introduced in March 2012 please?

b) If possible, could you also provide information on the nature of each injury, the date that it occurred, how it occurred and what sort of treatment was required?

2. Could you also please provide, separately, the same information relating to injuries sustained while handling green recycling bags since they were introduced in February 2021?
