1. How many Disabled people do you have living in your accommodation in properties that are on the first floor or above (ie non-ground floor properties), across your council area?
We do not hold information directly around all residents and disabilities.
Residents are allocated housing based on need and therefore if they had a disability which stopped them being able to escape they would not be placed higher than a ground floor where there is not a lift. Should there need and mobility change they would be expected to apply for a transfer to accommodation which better suits their needs.
WBC have no accommodation which is classed as high rise residential buildings.
2. How many residents do you have with personal emergency evacuation plans in council accommodation?
We do not hold Peeps in our blocks we have a agreed stay put policy in place. Measured in place to advise the local fire service where people who need support. These are held at both electronically and paper form on site.
