Reporting a death - Council Tax changes in occupancy

If two adults lived in the property and one has died, the Council Tax will be transferred to the remaining occupant, who will receive a 25% single person discount.

If more than two adults lived in the property, the Council Tax will be updated to reflect the remaining owners or occupiers.
