85. PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE CONSTITUTION AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ARRANGEMENTS
At its meeting on 14th January 2004, the Overview and Scrutiny Committee had considered, and recommended for approval, a revised version of the Council’s Constitution which had been produced to reflect the current administration’s political management arrangements. Documents associated with the Constitution which were proposed to be revised were the Scheme of Delegation to Officers, the Members Code of Conduct and an Anti-Fraud and Corruption Strategy.
The Leader asked that consideration of the revised constitution, the revised Members Code of Conduct and the anti-fraud and corruption strategy be deferred until a future meeting to allow Officers to carry out further work.
