Concern arising from the physical characteristics of a child's home
See notes
1. How does the Children's Social Care Department equip its children’s social workers to know when and how they should a refer a concern arising from the physical characteristics of a child's home to their colleagues in the Housing Department for investigation/clarity?
Children’s Services work closely with Housing and refer where there are concerns that the living environment presents a risk to the safety of a child. There are a range of issues that might lead to such a referral not necessarily related to the size of a room.
