I would like to request the following information relating to the schools you are responsible for as part of a local education authority.
1. What is your strategy for connectivity services regarding the schools in your jurisdiction? (i.e. broadband, internet connectivity).
a) Do you provide services directly?
No.
b) Are they provided by a partner and if so who?
No.
c) Are schools left to decide the strategy for themselves?
Yes.
Schools have purchased their own Broadband since the 31st March 2022 when our contract with RM to provide broadband to the schools ended. We didn’t run another broadband procurement for schools as we could no longer provide the significant savings to schools.
