Please could you share with me the documentation and discussions with regards to the response to the consultation carried out on behalf of residents about parking in St Paul's Gate Wokingham in 2022.
1. I would like to know how many residents responded;
a) How many residents indicated they struggled to find parking
31 Respondents (Out of 47 responses received).
b) At what times of the day parking was an issue
School pick up and drop off times, All day parking by commuters and non-residents from nearby roads.
c) How many complaints or concerns the council needs to have received to be able to implement changes to current on street parking
The Councils traffic management team operate a system where residents can request traffic and parking management measures, every request has to be investigated and all residents are free to make a request. These request are not classified as complaints, the proposal to develop a parking scheme for consultation was as a result of requests from residents via our on-line Traffic Management request form.
