Adoption of Princess Marina Drive

1.I would like to raise an FOI about the adoption of Princess Marina Drive to the council. In particular the adoption of the road from the roundabout by Biggs Lane (with the horses) to Martingale Grove. I have been informed by my councillor Adrian Betteridge that it is waiting on the developers (Crest) to complete the road before adoption. There are no works and haven’t been for the over 3 years. So I am submitting this request to 1) see what works they are waiting to be done 2) communication with crest about chasing up for the works to be carried out (which Adrian assured me was happening)
• The developer still needs to build the turning head at the eastern end of the road. Without this we cannot adopt the road.
• The drainage adoption by Thames has also not been signed off. Until this is adopted by Thames Water WBC cannot adopt the road
• Once the above points are completed the road will go onto a one-year maintenance period. At the end of the maintenance period, we will snag the road for defects. Once any defects are addressed, we will adopt the road
• Most of the communication with the developer has been via face to face meetings at the development between WBC highway officers and the developer or via phone/Teams calls.
