I would be grateful if you could let me have the following information relating to the buildouts on roads within the village of Arborfield Cross:

1. What was the original cost of designing and installing the buildouts and when were they installed?
Not possible to provide this information as these works were included as part of a wider scheme.

2. Who designed them and who signed off on the initial sitings?
Scheme was primarily designed by an appointed design consultant with internal review procedures, with minor drainage improvement amendments completed by the Wokingham Borough Council in house design team.
The design was also subject to all stages of Road Safety Audit throughout and whilst recommendations were received, sitings/placement of the buildouts was not referred.

3. What has been the total cost to Wokingham Borough Council for repairs to the buildouts and other ancillary costs in total since their instalment?
The estimated total repair cost is £61,948.87

4. What receipts have been received by Wokingham Borough Council from insurance or other claims against drivers involved in damaging the buildouts?
We are currently in the process of attempting to recover costs from the two incidents of damage where we have driver details. These have a potential total value of £12,050.83. The council does not have details for the rest of the accidents as it was not reported to the council. Without vehicle details we are unable to pursue a claim for the damage

5. What injuries to drivers and others have occurred since the instalment of the buildouts as a result of accidents involving the buildouts?
Wokingham Borough does not have this information, we only receive information of injury if it is reported by the police. None of the incidents at Arbordield cross have been reported by the police . However, you may be able to find the information you require for free from an online source such as Crashmap (CrashMap) or MAVRIC (MAVRIC).
