I write to request information in connection with the decision to convert Seymour House, Denmark Street, Wokingham into specialist affordable homes in Wokingham town centre as set out in your public announcement dated 24 March 2026.

For the avoidance of doubt, this request is made for recorded information held by your authority at the date of this request. Specifically, I request disclosure of the following recorded information:

1. Decision-making timeline - A summary timeline of key decisions and approvals relating to the scheme (including relevant committee or officer decisions), from initial consideration to the date of the public announcement.
The Council considered options for Seymour House during Autumn 2025, including the potential use as specialist accommodation. Feasibility, financial appraisal and option comparisons were undertaken between October and November 2025, with a formal recommendation prepared for decision by the Council’s Director of Resources & Assets ahead of the Specialist Housing Programme Board in late November 2025.

In February 2026, following Executive approval, responsibility for delivery transferred to the Council’s Commercial Property team.

2. Reports and internal documents - Any report, briefing note or summary document which:-
· identifies the options considered for the building; and
· sets out the reasons for selecting the current proposal
