1. Can you provide the number of void council homes in Wokingham borough.
As at 24.2.23 there are 35 WBC owned void properties
2. Can you provide the number of void homes administered by housing associations which work with Wokingham Borough Council.
We do not keep a list of void Housing Association Homes, this information is not provided to us by each individual housing association. We are notified as to when each individual property is void or nearing completion for a new build and we will then nominate an applicant. We are then told of the tenancy start date but this can be after the tenant has moved in, so we do not know how long each individual property has been void for.
3. How much revenue was lost due to lack of rent and council tax paid between February 2022 and January 2023 due to the void properties?
Void Loss between those two dates: 149,069
4. Between February 2022 and January 2023 what was the average amount of time a property was void between a property becoming available and being in use again?
