Cleaner and Greener, Highways and Housing

The relevant departments are Cleaner and Greener, Highways and Housing and the relevant period is 1 July 2025 to present.
1. I seek copies of any and all information held (or accessible to the Council through its contractors and/or their subcontractors) in relation to:
a) formal reports made (i.e. those which have annotated reference no's) citing hedges/trees encroaching onto pavements, and Wokingham's pursuant investigations/ recommendations and/or actions;
b) formal reports made (i.e. those which have annotated reference no's) citing members of the public tampering with hedges/trees and Wokingham's pursuant investigations/ recommendations and/or actions;
c) formal reports made (i.e. those which have annotated reference no's) citing inadequate/ poor standards of works carried out by the Council and/or its contractors to hedges/trees and Wokingham's pursuant investigations/ recommendations and/or actions.
Please note that any corporate complaint would necessarily have been grounded on a prior formal report, so it's not necessary to look at corporate complaints - other than if a corporate complaint was an escalation of dissatisfaction with the outcome of the formal report made to the respective department(s). In those circumstances, there would be a readily identifiable link.
2. I refer to works carried out to hedges, trees and shrubs on the grass verges which is public land, situated on the corner at the junction of Finchampstead Road and Tangley Drive facing towards Wokingham (i.e adjacent to the boundary of No 2 Tangley Drive). I seek data held (and it should lawfully be held) as to the instructions to carry out the work, the contractor report provided, the approval, inspection and signing off of the works, the identity of the contractor used, and the cost.

In relation to each report, I seek to know:
a) the specific nature of the public interest and the supporting information provided to the report;
b) whether the report was made by an individual, a business, or by person(s) employed by or contracted to Wokingham;
c) the Council's recommendations and/or actions taken.
