3. Is Wokingham council likely to have any 4 bedroom properties allocated to them this year? If so where?
We are only notified that a property is available to allocate to when we receive the nomination request from a landlord (WBC or HA). New build developments can be subject to delays so we are only notified upon completion and handover from the developers to the landlord.
4. Has Wokingham council requested any m43 wheelchair accessible properties on new build sites?
a) Or old property?
b) If so how many?
c) And where are these?
We have requested M4(3) homes in 7 different schemes. These are located across Wokingham in Pinewood, Arborfield, Spencer Wood, Eversley, Charvil and central Wokingham. Please note however that even when planning applications are approved, developers may choose not to build the new housing scheme.
5. Would Wokingham council purchase property if it was suitable for a band 1 medical A applicant?
We constantly monitor need and housing supply to meet need. Where there is deemed a priority need and when there are capital funds available, we can acquire suitable properties to match those priority needs. We need to look carefully at whether properties can be viably adapted to meet M3(4) versus the delivery pipeline of housing supply coming through the planning process to determine the most appropriate route.
6. When is the next lot of new build 4 bedrooms likely to be due for allocation of council stock? Would it be this year?

8. How many m43 properties does Wokingham council expect to receive in the next 2 years
There are currently no 4 bed M4(3) houses coming over from the Registered Providers over the next two years
