Recorded data breaches children's services

1. For the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2025 please provide the number of recorded data breaches in Children's Services.
2022/23: 106 Council wide, report states a quarter of the breaches related to Children Services but does not specific an exact figure.
2023/24: 85 Council wide, no specific figure captured for Children Services, which again the report stated that a quarter of these related to Children Services.
2024/25: 140 Council wide, but no specific figure captured for Children Services and no references to how many related to Children Services.
2025/26: 37 data breaches relating to Children Services
We are in the process of implementing a new system to capture and better report on data breaches this year so future statistics will be able to break down reporting requirements easier.
