Bridge and Road Restriction Data

1. Bridge Height Restrictions
A complete list of all bridges within your council area that carry a posted height restriction for road vehicles, including:
• The name or reference number of the bridge
• The road name or number it sits on
• The posted height restriction in metres
• The GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) if available

2. Bridge Weight Restrictions
A complete list of all bridges within your council area that carry a posted weight restriction, including:
• The name or reference number of the bridge
• The road name or number it sits on
• The posted weight restriction in tonnes
• The GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) if available

3. Width Restrictions
A complete list of all roads or structures within your council area that carry a posted width restriction for vehicles, including:
• The location or road name
• The posted width restriction in metres
• The GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) if available
We have been advised by our Highways Traffic Manager, Network Management that question 3 and 4 would exceed the cost of compliance 18hours to answer. Question 1 and 2 have taken 8hours to answer.
We have been advised there are 181 records that need to be checked, this means accessing, manually reviewing the document and adding the data to the overall spreadsheet which takes 15 minutes (approx.) per record which would mean the process takes around 45 hours. (Section 12).
4. HGV Prohibited Routes and Tunnels A complete list of any roads, tunnels or routes within your council area that are prohibited for HGV vehicles, including the reason for prohibition and GPS coordinates where available.
