2. Does your council have a School Uniform Grant Scheme?
Wokingham Borough Council don’t directly fund any Grant for School Uniform, however we do work with and signpost to the voluntary sector (First Days).

7. Please provide us with details any assessment your council has undertaken of accessibility and spread of Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) provision in the authority, and how these services are meeting local need
We have conducted mapping exercises of targeted areas/higher number of FSM children and have coverage of HAF provisions in these areas each holiday. The result of previous surveys saw the introduction of the HAF Specialist Provision where a gap was identified for children who couldn’t attend a universal provision. We have also used secondary surveys/feedback to tailor our Secondary provisions which saw an increase in attendance numbers. We are planning to carry out a new survey.
8. How many children accessed HAF during the summer 2025 holiday?
637 attended (plus 45 siblings at events/trips)

• Indoor/Outdoor Adventure Activities including climbing/paddle boarding/crate stacking (Dinton Activity Centre) ages 8-16 – 128 spaces available
• Library craft activities ages 4-10 years - 36 spaces available
• Craft/sewing/baking (The Cowshed) ages 8-14 years - 100 spaces available
• Mixed sports activities (Goals) ages 11-16 years - 240 spaces available
• Boxercise ages 11-15 - 78 spaces available
• Swimming ages 4-16 years - 845 spaces available
• Outdoor family events offering information and activities such as crafts, face painting, temporary tattoos, a climbing wall, inflatable, sports, help with school uniforms and equipment with First Day's Children's Charity, MyJourney Smoothie Bike/Bike Activities and the Police/Fire Service. Ages 4-16 years (younger siblings also welcome) - 200 spaces available
• Family Beach trip ages 4-16 years (younger siblings welcome) - 80 child/young person spaces available
• SEND Specialist Holiday Provisions ages 5-16 - 400 spaces available
