Number of Recorded Data Breaches, 2020–2025

Please provide the following information for each of the calendar years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025:
1. The total number of data security incidents or personal data breaches that were logged internally by the Council (i.e. recorded in your internal incident management or breach log), regardless of whether they were subsequently reported to any external body.
2. The total number of personal data breaches that were reported to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
For clarity, I am requesting figures only — not personal details of individuals affected, nor details of any specific incidents — so I do not anticipate that any exemptions under the Act would apply.
If the Council holds this information broken down by breach category or type (e.g. cyber incident, unauthorised disclosure, lost or stolen device, human error), I would welcome that additional breakdown, though I appreciate this may not be readily available and do not wish it to impede the core request.
