Please could you provide the following information relating to your organisation’s energy usage:

1. Copies of electricity and gas bills (or a summary equivalent) for the most recent 12-month period available.
We are unable to supply this information as it deemed ‘highly commercially sensitive information’ and therefore disclosure under Section 43(2) – regarding prejudice to commercial interests – is permitted to be denied by Wokingham Borough Council. The information requested pertains to a commercial contract that generate income for the council through related processes and as such is a commercial interest. Furthermore since the requested information includes significant customer information not only would it heavily prejudice our own commercial interests but represent a disclosure of client information as well.

2. Total annual electricity consumption (kWh) for the same period.
For the last available period the financial year of 2024/2025 the total for electricity kWh unit is 7113134

3. Total annual gas consumption (kWh) for the same period.
For the last available period the financial year of 2024/2025 the total GAS kWh units equivalent used is 17816481

4. Total annual cost (?) for electricity and gas, separately if available.
For the last available period the financial year of 2024/2025 the total cost of GAS & Electricity was a NET value of £4029213

5. The name of your current energy supplier(s).
Our suppliers are Npower for electricity & Total Energies for Gas

6. The contract end date(s) for electricity and gas supply.
Wokingham Borough Councils current contracts are due to expire with a LAST DAY of 31st March 2026 (31/03/2026 inclusive)
