Blue Badges

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting the following information in relation to Blue Badge misuse and enforcement in your local authority area. For the past five full calendar years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025), please provide:
1. The number of reports of suspected Blue Badge misuse received from the public or third parties
38 reports of misuse and letters sent to the badge holder.
2. The number of Blue Badge-related Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued by your authority (including offences for misuse of a Blue Badge, parking in disabled bays without a valid badge, expired badges, etc.)
Unfortunately Parking services have advised that there is no way knowing that information. They could be for anyone without a valid badge, without any badge, with an expired badge, etc. Below is the totals of PCN received –
2024:
On-Street disabled bay PCN Total = 833
Car park disabled bay Total = 646
2025:
On-Street disabled bay PCN Total = 758
Car park disabled bay Total = 797
3. The number of badges seized by enforcement officers
0 badges seized. In 2024 1 badge was seized by parking services and a member of the customer service team as it had expired on a walk about through Wokingham town.
