Comments on my building work

1. I would like to know who commented on my building work at my property, that stated I had done illegal work , and reported me to the council.
This information is exempt under Section 40 (Personal Details) and Section 41 (information provided in confidence) of the Freedom of Information Act. Individuals who raise concerns with the Council will be expected to be afforded some level of confidentiality. If the referrer/reporter was made known to the individual who they were complaining about this would prevent others from raising their concerns or reporting wrong doing. This doesn’t solely apply to planning / building work but across the Councils services. Any reports would be investigated to see if there was truth to the matter.
