1. How many sick days were recorded from teachers in schools run by the local authority citing mental health as the reason for illness? Please can you show this figure as the total number of days and the number of teachers who were absent from school because of a mental health related sick day for the following academic years: 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25.
We don’t hold any records of teacher absence centrally in WBC. All records are held individually by the schools.
